Welcome to my site! It lists every song that has ever entered the official Top 100 Singles Chart in Australia since 1950. Over 82% of those songs have streaming audio which can be played as individual tracks or via one of the site's many jukeboxes/playlists. Being able to hear the songs can be helpful for people who don't always know the name of songs that they like or have heard. I created this site to help people reconnect with songs that they've liked from the past and to discover many more! |

It's for a good friend, I know the song, but can't get a name in my brain.. I tried the 4 tops 1967 version - not it. (you have one hell of a site, it's a ripper mate)
Hi Terry,
DeleteThe only version of Do What You Gotta Do that charted here was by Al Wilson in 1968. The song has been covered over a dozen times between 1967 and 1971 with a list that can be found here: https://secondhandsongs.com/performance/20035
Happy hunting!
Audio and ratings have been added for Rock and Roll Part 1 by Gary Glitter. :)
ReplyDeleteAudio has been updated for I Am Woman by Helen Reddy. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOUR SITE!!! HOWEVER, THE NEW SEEKERS, BEG, STEAL OR BORROW is not the original Eurovision line-up. Australian PETER DOYLE sang lead with the lovely LYN PAUL sharing lead vocals with him. The one you have posted is Marty Kristian in a later line-up. Hope you can correct this PLEASE!!! (A friend of Lyn Paul in the United Kingdom).
ReplyDeleteHi, Can you please point me to audio of the version that should be on the site? YouTube link, etc.
DeleteIf you check the Eurovision SONG CONTEST 1972 ON YOU TUBE,
Deleteyou will see it is the original Beg, steal or borrow, which was the runner up in the contest, featuring Peter Doyle and Lyn Paul.
You can also find it on The New Seekers Website. I do not have the links myself, sorry!
Thanks for your response, and could you post Who`s Sorry Now, by Lyn Paul on your site? You list it, but there is no link to play it.
