Welcome to my site! It lists every song that has ever entered the official Top 100 Singles Chart in Australia since 1950. Over 82% of those songs have streaming audio which can be played as individual tracks or via one of the site's many jukeboxes/playlists. Being able to hear the songs can be helpful for people who don't always know the name of songs that they like or have heard. I created this site to help people reconnect with songs that they've liked from the past and to discover many more! |

Hi Grant, one small correction.... 'State of Independence' by Donna Summer has the AMR Peak listed as #100 but should be #30. Regards, Adam
ReplyDeleteHi Adam, State of Independence had two separate chart runs. The first was in 1982 (this list) where it had a peak of #100. The second run was in 1983 (https://www.top100singles.net/2011/11/every-amr-top-100-single-in-1983.html) and it peaked at #30. :)
DeleteApologies I just realised what your reasoning is for showing it's peak as #100. It spent only one week in the charts in 1982 (at #100) then re-entered in 1983 and climbed to #30. Makes sense now!
DeleteYes....and now I've refreshed my screen I can see that you'd already explained that! Thanks for the reply :)
